Regular cut and loop pile:

A softer, flatter rug style where some yarn loops stay closed and some are cut. It gives the rug texture and design without being super fluffy or tall.

Long cut and loop pile:

The same textured style, but with longer yarn strands. It looks thicker, fluffier, more 3D, and feels softer and deeper when touched.

Example:

Think of grass.

Regular cut and loop pile looks like freshly trimmed grass.

Long cut and loop pile looks like taller, softer grass with more depth.

How long does it take to make a tufted rug? Every rug is handmade from start to finish, so completion times vary. Most projects take 2–8 weeks, depending on the size and level of detail. I'll provide a more accurate timeline once I've reviewed your design.

How much does a custom rug cost? Every rug is custom-made, so pricing depends on the size, design, and level of detail. After reviewing your idea, I'll provide a personalized quote based on your specific project.

Can I see a mockup before you start? Yes! Once we've discussed your idea and I've gathered enough information, I'll create a digital mockup for approval before production begins. This helps ensure we're aligned on the overall design, colors, layout, and direction before materials are used. Minor revisions may be included depending on the project.

Where can I use my rug? Our pieces can be created for floors, walls, shelves, nurseries, offices, bedrooms, living rooms, businesses, events, and more. If you're unsure where you'd like to display your piece, I can help recommend a size and style based on your space.

What if I don't have a design idea yet? No problem! You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. You can share your interests, favorite colors, room style, hobbies, memories, themes, or inspiration photos, and I'll help develop a concept that fits your vision.
